Obituary for Robert Kessler
Graveside services for Mr. Robert C. Kessler will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bentley, Louisiana with the Reverend Jerry Crise officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mr. Kessler, age 86, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, La..
He was Kansas born and raised, a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, a lifetime member of the VFW, a member of Palestine Methodist Church in Tioga, Louisiana and loved to hunt, fish, travel and in the later years go to the casino’s. Mr. Kessler was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ludwiga Kessler; two sisters, Helen Anderson and Mary Fluitt.
Mr. Kessler is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joy H. Kessler of Pineville; a daughter, Jane Lacour (Joe) of Natchitoches; a son, Kevin Kessler (Peggy) of Pineville; six grandchildren, Brandon and Chris Lacour of Natchitoches, Robert Kessler (Emily) of Ruston, Kasey Stewart (Brady) of Norman, OK, Laurie and Jacob Kessler of Ruston; three Great Grandchildren, Landry Kate Kessler, Elijah Stewart and Sarah Beth Stewart.
Pallbearers will be Brandon and Chris Lacour, Robert and Jacob Kessler and Brady Stewart.
