Life Story for Elizabeth Racina (Singreen)

Elizabeth “Liz” Alexandra Racina née Singreen of New Orleans, Louisiana, entered into final rest on May 10, 2016. Elizabeth was born on May 1, 1982, to Harry and Shirley Singreen. Elizabeth was raised in uptown New Orleans on Audubon Blvd and graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School. She attended Swarthmore College before transferring to Tulane University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History and French. After graduating from Tulane, Elizabeth studied in France before moving back to Louisiana and continuing her studies in art, French, and education. In 2015, Elizabeth married Anthony Racina, and they welcomed their baby girl Olivia Racina on December 10, 2015. Elizabeth was excited to be a wife, adored her daughter, and cherished her role as a mother. Elizabeth was fiercely loyal, a devout Catholic, a lover of the arts and French language, a writer, painter, poet, and creator of many things. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Anthony Racina, daughter Olivia Racina, brother Michael Singreen and her niece and nephew, grandmother Dorothy Singreen, parents-in-law Betty and Joseph Racina, brothers-in-law, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Shirley Singreen who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms. Arrangements are entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
