Obituary for Gary Lynn "G.L." Adams
Memorial services for Mr. G.L. Adams will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Adams, age 65, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 18, 2016 at his residence.
Gary retired from Union Pacific after 42 years of service. He was a big fan of the Alanta Braves. He also enjoyed playing pool and listening to music.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray “Paps” Adams; one sister, Charm Danzy.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth Adams of Alexandria; mother, Edwina Adams of Tioga; two sons, David Vercher (Tara) of Ball, Gregory Adams (Krystal) of Pineville; two daughters, Melissa Adams-Trejo of Ball and Marie Baker (Tim) of Colorado; one brother, Raymond Adams (Julia) of Tioga; nine grandchildren.
