Condolences

Condolence From: Rachael Johnson
Condolence: You were a wonderful man who loved to laugh and make others laugh. I will always be eternaly grateful for introducing me to your son who became my sweet husband. You found pleasure and beauty in even the smallest things life had to offer. You taught me how to shoot my first gun, and somehow convinced me to climb twenty feet into the air into a fixed deer stand in a tree straped in!lol
You always gladly helped anyone that had vehicle troubles, and saw beauty in a shell of a vehicle knowing the possiblities of how gorgeous it "could" be!lol
Your laugh was loud and contagious to anyone who heard it.
Your grandchildren were your pride and joy and put the sparkle in your eyes.
It still so hard to believe that I'll never see you again in your bib overalls working in your shop, or never getting us all to go fishing together.
You loved a good meal and never minded anyone coming over to cook for. You made the best fried turkey and boiled the best tasting crawfish around! The love you showed my boys from the very beginning will always mean the world to me and them.
The time you spent showing and teaching them about the ins and outs of fixing vehicles will be something they will always treasure. They loved you so!
You loved your wife so dearly and tenderly and set a fine example to your children and grandchildren on how beautiful and happy true love can be.
I will always consider you my first and only real father in law.
Yall's home will never sound the same without the echo of your voice and laughter filling it.
You once told me and your son to never take life for granted because tomorrow's never promised, and it seems so unfair that you were taken so young. I know they say everyone's time will come but yours seem to be cut so short and left us all with aching hearts and wishing we still had you here to still enjoy our time with you.
They also say God takes his finest early on so that explains why he chose you.
I know your sons are all so hurt and left with an ache in their hearts for their Dad that can't be consoled, and they are all wishing they had one more hug, one last time to say "I love you", one more day or hour, one last conversation, one last laugh...
You always made everything such a happy time and you can never be replaced.Your beloved cat that was your baby doesn't understand where her Daddy went. It's so sad.
I wish we had a key to heaven so we could still come visit with you, but I know you are still here watching over your family that you loved with all your heart.
I'll never forget the time when your son and I first moved in together in my little trailor and we couldn't get service inside on our cellphones, and you came over and banged on our bedroom window and scared us to death, but you missed your son and were worried when you hadn't heard from him, and it was that day I learned how much you truly loved him.

In a couple of hours it will be time for your funeral and it's going to be so hard on everyone, and will be one of the saddest days in all of our lives. But I know you will never truly be gone because the memories you left us will keep your spirit alive, and your legend will live on through your children and grandchildren.
I will never forget you Dad, and I will always love you for loving me.
Until we all meet again in Heaven...
Love your daughter in law,
Rachael Johnson
