Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Snody Ross will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Springhill Baptist Church, Grayson, Louisiana with the Reverend’s Bob Boyt and Sammy Morrow officiating. Interment will be in Roberts Cemetery, Grayson, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Ross, age 86, of Pollock, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Woods Haven Nursing Home, Pollock, Louisiana.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and faithfully read her bible every day. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Silbert and Beatrice Snody; one son, Earl Dale Ross; one brother, Emerick Snody; two sisters, Tommie Cockerham and Clara Penney.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Marsh Ross of Pollock; two daughters, Wanda Wilson (Larry) of Spring, Texas and Debra Brown of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Mary Leal (Alex) of Vidor, Texas and Alice Stapleton (Slim) of Jena; five grandchildren, David Wilson, Michael Wilson, Summer Brown, Fred Ross and Amanda Cox.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 30, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Springhill Baptist Church, Grayson, Louisiana.

The family would like to give thanks to the staff of Woods Haven Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to their mother.
