Life Story for Melissa Ann Bakhsh (King)
Funeral services for Mrs. Melissa Ann Bakhsh will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Acts, 5305 North Blvd., Alexandria, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a..m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Bakhsh, age 56 of Boyce, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Rapides Regional after a brief illness.
Melissa was born on August 17, 1961 in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family and enjoyed being outdoors.
She is preceded in death by her father; Franklin King; sister, Connie Johnson; grandchildren, Christopher Bradford, Eric Gorden, Gage LaVallie and Marleigh Gaspard
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Covington; sisters, Jennifer and Nola Covington; brothers, Franklin King Jr. and Heath Covington; children, Jill, Willie and Joe Ladd, Jeremy Gorden, Jeffery Gaspard, Melissa and Timothy Berry; Granchildren, Jacob Bradford, Hailey Ladd, Garrett Ladd, Brianna Gorden, Alisia Kelly, Jaida Kelly, Mckenzie Gaspard, Mercede, Madison and Makayla Berry; Great Grandchild, Zaylee Kelly and Tiny T9 (her loving dog).
