Life Story for Michael Eugene "Mickey" Nichols
Memorial services for Mr. Michael “Mickey” Nichols will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana. Visitation for “Mickey” will begin at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 and continue until service time, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mickey, age 47, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.
Mickey was a loving father, son and a devoted friend to many. He was an Assistant Manager at Mac’s grocery for over 16 years, a member of Journey Church in Pineville and was loved by many family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Nichols; Grandparents, Rex and Vita Nichols and maternal Grandmother, Lela Alexander.
He was lucky enough to be in love with the “Love of his life”, Amy Maxwell, who took very good care of Mickey. He is survived by his son, Dalton Nichols (Ashlee) of Ball, La; his mother, Jennie Alexander of Pineville, one brother, Nicholas Nichols of Pineville; favorite Aunt, Connie “Auntie Mae” Alexander and his “surrogate” mother, who he loved like his own mother, Polly Adkinson.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.
