Memorial services for Mr. Ralph Wayne Hargrove will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Bro. Andrew Orr officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Hargrove, age 78, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the VA Medical Center, Pineville, Louisiana.

Mr. Hargrove served his country in the U.S. Army for over 12 years. He was the Administrator of local nursing homes for 20 years and after retirement became a school bus driver, which he enjoyed very much.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dougle and Jewel Ferguson Hargrove; siblings, L.D. Hargrove, Don Hargrove, Louis Mae Pryor, Barbara Lester and Delorise Hargrove.

He is survived by one son, Scott Hargrove (Adrienne) of Jena; one daughter, Kim Davis of Alexandria; grandchildren, Sommer and Tyler Davis of Alexandria, Jonah Hargrove of Jena and Anthony Aguilar of Jena.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
