Obituary for Shirley Haase (Shrubb)
Memorial services for Mrs. Shirley Shrubb Haase will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the G.A. Mangun Center, Alexandria, Louisiana with Reverend Andrew Cox, Sister Vesta Mangun and Reverend Gentry Mangun officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Haase, age 82, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Walter Charles Haase; parents, Albert and Winifred O’Neill Shrubb.
Mrs. Haase, a native of London, England was the director of Nanny’s Pre-School and Child Development Center for over 32 years. Her high moral standards, her Christian belief, and her British accent contributed to her success at Nanny’s Daycare.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Haase (DeAnn) and Mark Haase (Bonnie); four daughters, Susan Haase, Deborah Haase Kosik (Michael), Karen Haase and Tracy Neely Juneau (Michael); one brother, Frank Albert Shrubb; eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many family and friends.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the G.A. Mangun Center, Alexandria, Louisiana from 4:30 until time of service.
