Obituary for Tonia Jean Harvey
Funeral services for Mrs. Tonia Fuglaar Harvey will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Darrell Hoychick officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Baptist Church, Pineville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Harvey, age 67, of Texarkana, Texas, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Tonia was a loving spouse, daughter, mother and grandmother. She loved writing poetry, creating art, and making jewelry. She faithfully served in women’s ministry at Word of Life Center, Shreveport, Louisiana. She loved serving others and hosting parties. She had a passion for her flowers and gardening. Tonia was very much a Daddy’s girl.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Sue Gimber; paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Hilda Johnson Fuglaar; maternal grandparents, William and Mildred Gimber.
She is survived by her husband, Don Harvey of Texarkana, Texas; parents, Les and LouAnne Fuglaar of Pineville; one son, Doug Rohrbaugh (Amanda) of Marshall, Texas; two daughters, Jeannie McCall (Duncan) of Bossier City, Dixie Giddens (Chad) of Shreveport; one brother, Jim Fuglaar of Pineville; three sisters, Susan Landry (Darrell) of Dry Prong, Cheryl Anne Chelette (Donald) of Alexandria and Kathleen Knott (Scottie) of Sunset; grandchildren, Shelby Molina (Morgan) of Virginia, Sterling, Brayden, Reagan, Jordan and Christian.
Friends may visit on Thursday, June 15, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
