Obituary for Tim Michael Metesh
Funeral Services for Mr. Tim Micheal Metesh will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday June 22, 2017 in the Chapel at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, LA, with Father Kurian Zachariah officating. Interment will be held at Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, Louisiana.
Friends are welcome to attend Mass with the family on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Edwards the Confessor Catholic Church in Fishville, LA at 9:00 a.m.
Mr. Metesh, age 66, of Pollock, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mr. Metesh was born July 25, 1950. He was a graduate of Bolton High and served his country in the US Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He was a life time member of the VFW, a member of the AMVETS; also, he was a member of the 40’/8 and served as Chef De Gave of the 40’/8 for 3 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph “Randy” Metesh, II, wife Dorothy; mother, Earline LaCour; grandparents, Rudolph Peter and Amelia Metesh; brother, Rudolph “Sonny” Metesh III, wife Karen; sister, Mona Hazelton.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Linda Stewart Metesh of Pollock; two daughters, Amelia Williams, husband Bradley of Madisonville, KY, Aubrey Deville, husband of Thomas of Deville; one son, Michael Shane Metesh of Pollock; brother, Charles LaCour, wife Pam of Texas; sister, Sissy Vermillion, husband Ricky of Pineville; proud grandfather to Austin Huffman of Savannah, GA., Gavin, Michaela, Shelby, Kainin Metesh of Pollock, and Gage Deville of Deville.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday June 22, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service
