Life Story for Wayne Victor Mims Sr.
Funeral services for Wayne Victor Mims, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, with Reverend Darrell Ingram officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Mims, age 82, of Ball, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Friday, June 30, 2017 at his residence in Ball, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Mims was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a longtime member of Paradise Baptist Church, where he had a heart to serve others. Mr. Mims retired from CLECO after 40 years of service.
Mr. Mims is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mrs. Frances Morrow Mims of Ball; two sons, Wayne Victor Mims, Jr and Mel Roper (Judy) all of Tioga; a daughter, Beverly Coutee (Tommy) of Tioga; three grandsons, Tim Roper (Mindy), David Roper (Paula) and Dain Coutee; five great-grandchildren, Abigail Roper, Nathan Roper, Matthew Roper, David Roper and Joseph Coutee; and a “honorary” granddaughter, Melissa Hunter (Jonathan).

9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
