The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Slayter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Our hearts go out to the entire Slater family. Billy meant so much to me and was a friend, a wonderful neighbor, and always there to help me and others in any time of need. I will greatly miss him, but I know that when I enter the Eastern Gate, Billy will be there to greet me on the Streets of Gold. Our Love and Prayers to all.
