Life Story for Janet B. Holley (Boyd)
A Memorial service for Janet Boyd Holley will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, July 31, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA, with Reverend Tim Hisaw officiating under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Janet entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 27 2017 at Tioga Community Care Center.
Janet was a devoted Mother & Grandmother. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. Janet kept an open door & open arms for family & friends and a source of unconditional companionship when needed. She was always willing to listen and offer advice. Janet enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her home. She loved and cared for stray and abandoned animals, keeping them safe and fed. Janet enjoyed arts & crafts, puzzles, playing cards & cooking. She loved to travel when the opportunity arose.
Janet is preceded in death by her sister, Julia Ann Pitman, and brother Billy Harrell Boyd.
Janet is survived by her only son David Holley, his wife Debby, & her granddaughter Kaitlyn Holley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
