Obituary for Leola Virginia Belgard (Paul)
Funeral services for Mrs. Leola Virginia Belgard will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Harmony Church in Deville, Louisiana with Reverend Richie Craig officiating. Interment will be in Paul Cemetery, Deville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Belgard, age 87, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Centerpoint, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gerald S. Belgard; parents, William and Florida Paul; one brother, William Laverne Paul; two sisters, Vera Faye Brown and Linda Marie Paul; grandson, David “Joey” Belgard; one great-great-granddaughter, Kylie Belgard.
She is survived by two sons, Rodger Belgard, Sr. (Rita) of Marshall, Texas and Robert Stephen Belgard of Minden; two daughters, Brenda Bryant of Deville and Kathy Rhoads of Missouri; eight grandchildren, “Keith” Belgard, Jr., Albert Belgard, Melani Swanson, Tiffani McLain, Tessa Belgard, Dystrey Partain, Sarah Virden and Dewey Rush; twenty two great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Harmony Church in Deville, Louisiana at 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday, August 18, 2017.
