Obituary for Robert (Bobby) Thomas Lindsey
Funeral services for Mr. Robert (Bobby) Thomas Lindsey will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, with Reverend Jeff Bledsoe officiating.
Bobby, age 72, of Ball, formerly of Tullos, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He worked as an Oil Gauger for Placid Refining for many years. After Placid Refining, he also worked as a Signal Installer for Mid-South Railroad Service before retiring. Bobby was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and great friend to many.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Samuel M. Lindsey, II, and mother, Mildred Craig Lindsey of Tullos, Louisiana; brother, Samuel (Sammy) Lindsey, III; sister, Kathyrn Lindsey, and brother, Elton (Sonny) Lindsey.
He is survived by his two sons, Scott Lindsey of Ball and Samuel R. Lindsey (Carley) of Monroe, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren, Ashton Lindsey, Peyton Lindsey, Hannah Lindsey, Beau Lindsey, Preston Hebron, and Peyton Evans; sister, Betty Nutzman (Glen) of Monroe, Louisiana, sister-in-law, Gayle Lindsey of Montrose, Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Glen Nutzman, Mike Albritton, Thurman Beavers, Mark Nelson, Ronnie Cupit, Tommy Hollis, and Roger Dobbs.
Friends may visit on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
