Life Story for Robert Joe Miller
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Joe Miller will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, with Reverend Gary Wiley officiating. Burial will follow at Richey Cemetery, Deville under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, LA
Mr. Miller, age 70, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is described as a man who knew someone everywhere he went. Mr. Miller worked at Holsum Bakery for 34 years and was in the Army for 2 years. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers and spending time with his family on their pontoon boat.
Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Florence Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife 47 years, Windy Miller; son, Robert Dale Miller; daughter, Rebecca Morris (Stacey) of Lecompte; sisters, Eloise Cook, Irene Shipp (Roy), Doris White (Marvin), Jane Shoup; grandchildren, Tanna Cedars (Dalton), Ryan Yost, JoDee Yost, and one great-grandchild, Kaiser Cedars.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Heath Carter, Stacey Morris, Ryan Yost, Trent Dewitt, Mike Lambert, Michael Shelton, Dalton Cedars, and Justin Lambert
