Mr. Bruce Wayne Gardner, age 63, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents Buddy James and Lucille Kerry Gardner.

He is survived by his special friend, Elaine Whiteside; one son, Ira Creed Gardner (Breanne) of Pollock; two daughters, Sencee Maltempi (DJ) of Colfax and Mae Despino (Derek) of Dry Prong; two sisters, Sheri Gardner Overman (Gregg) of Hernado, MS and Dee Ann Gardner Matos (Lionel) of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Logan, Garrett, Gavin Gardner, Serenity, Trey, Jordan Maltempi, Landon and Katelyn Despino.
