Obituary for Bobby Ray Campbell
Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ray Campbell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church with Reverends Carl Gulde and Danny Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Gilcrease Family Cemetery in Wheeling, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Campbell, age 81, of Colfax, Louisiana, entered eternal on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Bobby was a loving father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was a long time faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gilcrease Campbell, two step-sons, John and Darryl and a brother, “Uncle Junior”.
Mr. Campbell is survived by one son, Corky Campbell (Debra) of Kent, Ohio, a step-son, James Gilcrease, Jr. (Deborah) of Winnfield, LA; step-daughter, Ann Duke (Jack) of Pasadena, Tx.; nine grandchildren including Dawn Stroud, Lisa Carroll, Angela Yonts and Rachel Gilcrease and twenty-one great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
Friends may visit on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church 8789 LA-8, Colfax, LA 71417, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.
