Life Story for Arlene Croom (Williams)
Funeral services for Mrs. Arlene W. Croom will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at The Pentecostals of Alexandria Sanctuary, Alexandria, Louisiana with Reverend Anthony Mangun and Bishop David Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Frazier cemetery, Dry Prong, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Croom, age 76, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Matthews Memorial Health Care Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Arlene loved God and lived for her family. She was a lifelong member of the POA, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. She never went a day without praying for her children, grandchildren and all those close to her. She absolutely loved Holidays because that’s when her family all got together. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed special times when her children would honor her with a special meal…just for her. Mrs. Croom also ironed clothes for a host of friends beginning in 1993. She will truly be missed by family and friends.
Mrs. Croom is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruth Williams and her husband, Billy Ray Croom.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Guinn (Mike) of Alexandria, Joyce Croom of Ball and Stacy Croom Bordelon (Seth) of Pineville, La.; two sons, Joe K. Croom (BJ) and James B. Croom (Vickie) all of Alexandria, LA; two sisters, Johnnie Williams Bobbitt and Shirley Williams Mabrey both of Alexandria and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit on Friday, October 6, 2017 at The Pentecostals of Alexandria Sanctuary from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
