Obituary for Opal Bernice Gallineau (Granger)

Memorial services for Mrs. Opal Granger Gallineau, age 92, of Alexandria, Louisiana, will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 6733 Masonic Drive, Alexandria, LA 71301.

Mrs. Gallineau entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and friend. Mrs. Opal traveled the world with her husband Dewitt who served thirty-three years in the military. She loved spending time at her timeshares in Gatlinburg, TN and Florida. She loved to study and read her bible, collect sea shells and be in the presence of family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt William Gallineau and a son, Gerald Gallineau.

Mrs. Gallineau is survived by three sons, Daniel L. Gallineau (Janet) of Pineville, Donald L. Gallineau (Debra) of Alexandria and Ricky D. Gallineau of Boyce; one brother, Bob Granger of Mountainview, OK; one sister, Connie Lisle of Amarillo, TX; two grandsons, Danny Gallineau (Wendy) of Pineville and Nathan Gallineau of Pineville; granddaughter, Melana; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Addison, Olivia, Bailey, Ava and Aria.
