Obituary for Regina Shelby
Mrs. Regina Gertrude Shelby, age 63, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her residence in Pineville, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Shelby was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. She was the matriarch of the family. Mrs. Shelby’s greatest joy in life was taking care of her family. She was a great cook and loved to bake. Mrs. Shelby enjoyed feeding the birds in her garden as well as any other animal that showed up. She also liked anything to do with dolphins. Mrs. Shelby was deeply loved and will be missed by many family and friends.
Mrs. Shelby is preceded in death by her parents, Horst and Charlotte Schaffer; brother, Rudiger Schaffer; and sister Jasmin Jung.
She is survived by her husband, Harrison Shelby of Pineville; daughters, Daniela Hines (Christopher) of Pineville, and Melanie Allen (David) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters, Anja Williams (David) of Alexandria, and Caroline Drammeh of Germany; brother, George Schaffer of Germany; grandchildren, Yasmine Smith (Joshua), Daniel Miah, Angelina Miah, Luca Schombert, Noah Schombert, Larissa Allen; nieces and nephews, Rushana Griffin, Kejuan Davis, Randy Ross, Patrick Ross, Vincent Ross, Torsten Schaffer, Karina Schaffer, Anja Anthes, Sasha Anthes, Alexander Anthes, Stephanie Anthes, and Gabi Schaffer; and extended family and friends.
