Mrs. Becky Purvis McComic, age 59, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, “Buck” McComic; father, Murry Purvis; paternal grandparents ; maternal grandparents; step-father, Leamon White.

She is survived by two sons, Waynon Baxley of Ball, Ira Baxley, Jr. (Kristin) of Atlanta; one daughter, Mary Jackson (Juana) of Atlanta; mother, Faye Wise White; one brother, Jacob Purvis of Verda; seven sisters, Pamela Lestage (Jerry) of Ball, Linda Lestage of Winnfield, Sandra Holliday (Kevin) of Hope, Arkansas, Judy Keeble (Michael) of Monroe, Jo Ann Bazar (Tommy) of Verda, Esther Ogelsby (John) of Donaldsonville and Laken Purvis of Verda; one step-granddaughter.
