Funeral services for Mrs. Tammie Ducote Swafford will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Heart of Worship, Pineville, Louisiana with Reverend Keith Dickens officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Swafford, age 46, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Tammie was a faithful member of Heart of Worship Church, Pineville, Louisiana. She worked as the Executive Assistant for the Food Bank of Central Louisiana. Tammie was full of life and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Chuck Swafford of Deville; parents, Rodney and Pat Juneau Hobbs of Buckeye; five brothers, Timothy Roberts (Amy) and family of Dry Prong, Brandon Hobbs (Gina) and family of Olla, Taylor Hobbs (Brit) of Monroe, Nathan Hobbs of Vernon, Alabama, Jeremy Hobbs (Shannon) and family of Monroe; numerous family and friends.

Friends may visit on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Heart of Worship Church, Pineville, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Wesley Roberts, Brandon Hobbs, Taylor Hobbs, Eddie Deshotel, Jr., Robert Henderson and Brandon Swafford; honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Roberts, Braden Hobbs, Kendall Hobbs and Kollin Hobbs.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the SICU, doctors, nurses and therapist of Rapides Regional Medical Center for their wonderful and compassionate care given to our lovely angel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
