Condolence From: Jack & Becki Lemons
Condolence: Jim, Jimbo, JC was a great friend. We shared times, thoughts, adventures, honeymoons, hurricanes, and life together for over 30 years. I always say that you have friends for "seasons" in your life, and we had a long good season. Jim loved to share life with his humor and generous hospitality including some of the best GUMBO ever! Jim and I were similar in stature, some people thought we were a tag team of professional wrestlers . We shared of life experiences and news or our children often. He loved his children and family and was truly proud of all of them. We will greatly miss Jim, as he was a brother from another mother. He told me that he had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior....so I can say.....WE will see you again.....in Heaven, Brother.

Condolence: Jimmy C.-- Rest well my dear, dear friend. No more hospitals, pills, surgeries, pain, health stuff..... You certainly went through it these last few years. But, oh the parties, the fun, the laughs, the memories--you did that for a bunch of peeps who never met anyone quite like you!!! While alive, you LIVED, and LAUGHED, and made the world a happier place. Much love from me and from Long Cove an from Ft. Myers. Diana

Condolence: Bret, Carroll, Ben, Terri, Maggie-- Your dad was my friend for more than 30 years, and even though we didn't see one another frequently, we always kept in touch. We have great memories from Lake Wylie, Ft. Myers, and all the days I spent with him, and with you during my drives back and forth to Dallas. We always talked on his birthday, and on mine in December. I know there are a bunch of people all over the Carolinas who loved him, and were his friends. He loved all of you kids, and talked about you all the time. You and your kids were his greatest joys. Grieve for as long as you feel like grieving. There are no rules about this. And someday, you'll remember something funny he said, or did, and you'll smile. And someday after that, you'll be strong enough to start telling funny stories and remember great memories you made with him. Much love for all of you, Diana Grubenhoff 16 Poinsettia Drive Ft.
