Ms. Emily Jean Darce Fontenot, age 64, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her residence in Boyce, Louisiana. Friends may come and visit on Thursday August, 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorial services for Ms. Fontenot will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, in Ball, Louisiana.

Ms. Fontenot was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.

Ms. Emily Fontenot is preceded in death by her parents, Alfonse Darce and Katherine Calgill Darce; sisters, Laverne Skinner and Donna Laird; and brother, Phil Darce.

She is survived by her son, Ivor Fontenot (Kim) of Boyce; Daughter, Deeney Rudisill (John) of Boyce; brothers, Joey Darce and Andy Martin; sisters, Cynthia Singleton of Lake Charles, Teresa Darce, Mitzi Gormanous, Shelly Fuselier, and Eva Darce; grandchildren, Christon Stracener and Coleton Stracener of Boyce, Haley Fontenot, Autumn Fontenot of Tyler, Texas, Cody Crews of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Casie Crews of Van Buren, Arkansas, Megan Braxton of Baton Rouge, Lacie Killian of Spiro, Oklahoma, Jordan Killian of Boyce; great grandchildren, Abigail Hart of Tyler, Texas, Nola Crews of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Zayden Crews of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Grayson Goynes of Van Buren, Arkansas, and one more on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews.
