Obituary for Lt. Colonel Fred Hoyte Freeman Jr.

Lt. Col. (Ret.) Fred Freeman, Jr., age 88, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Colonel Freeman, an Air Force Pilot, served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force. He traveled extensively throughout his career and was a command pilot of the C-130 Herculles. Colonel Freeman served during the Korean conflict and Vietnam War. He was a member of the Retired Military Association, a Shriner, Mason, and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Bella Vista, AR. Colonel Freeman attended Kemper Military Academy High School, University of Omaha and University of Nebraska where he graduated in June of 1952 with a Degree in Business Administration. After his retirement from the United States Air Force, he became a licensed Realtor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, June Freeman of Alexandria; one son, Fred H. Freeman, III (Denise) of Deville; one daughter, Julie D. Freeman of Seneca, MO.
