Obituary for Johnny Buckley
Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Buckley, age 60, will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at at 2:00 p.m. at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Maxwell and Rev. Leland Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Gallagher Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m. until prior to the service.
Mr. Buckley, age 60 of Tioga, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Buckley was employed as a security guard for many years and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. Buckley was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret Buckley; eight brothers, Duke Theiss, Jack Buckley, Richard Buckley, Charles Buckley, Don Buckley, James "Gene" Buckley, Clifford Buckley and Henry Jr.(infant) and two sisters, Betty Galiano and Doris "DeeDee" McMonagle.
Mr. Buckley is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dot Buckley of Tioga; two brothers, Jerry Buckley of Decatur, IL and Walter Buckley (Barbara) of Mattoon, IL ; two sisters, Margaret Ball of Ball, Louisiana and Vivian Best (Richard) of Retsil, Washington; three sister in laws, Pat Buckley of Decatur, IL., Elaine Theiss of Pineville, LA and Carol Martin of Rockledge, Florida; one brother in law, Harry Martin also of Rockledge, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
