Charles Oneal  Ivy
Charles O'neal Ivy was in the Navy for 4 years active and 2 years reserve as a medical Corpsman. After active duty, he became a barber for most of his life until he moved to Marksville in 2004 when he went to work for Paragon casino which he loved.
That is where he met his fiancée Debbie Desselle.
Mr. Ivy is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Rufus Ivy and Bobbie Jean Dew; and his sister, Deborah Jean Ivy. He is survived by three brothers, John Michael Ivy, James Carlo Ivy, and William David Ivy; one sister, Victoria Delyn McCarra.
Memorial service will be held at Marksville Baptist Church, 640 North Main Street, Marksville, LA, on the 28th of October at 3:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at East Pleasant Grove Baptist church in Quitman, Mississippi at 11:00 a.m. on the 2nd of November, 2015. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
