Mr. Vaughn, age 86, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at VA Medical Center, Pineville, Louisiana.

Mr. Vaughn, a welder was also self- employed in the wrecking yard business. He was a resident of Alexandria, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rowena Vaughn; a son, Gene Vaughn and daughter, Sherry Dauzat.

He is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Bordelon (Larry) of Pineville; one brother, Earl Vaughn (Rene) of Tioga. One son John Vaughn, Jr. of Pineville and many Family and Friends.
