Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd Richard “Ricky” King will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana. Interment will follow in St. Maurice Methodist Church Cemetery in St. Maurice, La under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana. The King family will receive friends at Gallagher Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Lloyd Richard “Ricky” King, a computer technologist and musician entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Winnfield, Louisiana. Born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, July 7, 1954, Ricky was the father of Christopher “Shane” King of Montgomery, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly King Thompson and his parents William Verne and Ruth Cox King.
Surviving, in addition to his son, are three brothers; John William King (Barbara) of Denham Springs, La, Verne Ray King (Linda) of Port Arthur, Tx. and Robert W. King (Peggy) of Montgomery, Louisiana; one sister, Kathryn Rhodes of Charleston, SC and three grandchildren. Ricky was cherished for his intelligence, thoughtful speech, and his peaceful, well-mannered disposition. He loved technology, music, hunting and fishing. He was an avid football fan and a gentleman.
