Memorial services for Mrs. Earlene Malone Neufner will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Neufner, age 86, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Earlene loved fishing, commercial fishing and cooking for her family and friends. She loved being at her home and her camp on the lake working outdoors, especially in her beautiful flower beds. She had a very adventurous spirit about her, she loved and lived life to the fullest. She also loved country and western music. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She will be missed by many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by son, Tommy E. Morris; parents, Ellis, Sr. and Armer Malone; one brother, Drew Malone; two sisters, Eunice Evans and Ethel Smith; half-sister, Jewel Cannon.

She is survived by one son, Carl Ratcliff (Jaqueline) of Tioga; two daughters, Janie Ratcliff of Ball and Judy Hadrick (Mark) of Yuba City, CA; brother and sisters, Ellis Malone, Jr. of Pineville, Beatrice Collins of Pineville, Chester Malone (Betsy) of Pollock and Bobbie Jean Broussard (Charles) of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Thomas Morris of Ball, Halee LaDart of Alexandria, Carl “CJ” Ratcliff, Jr. of Centerpoint, Sydnee Ratcliff of Tioga, Peyton Ratcliff of Tioga, Hiromi Tomita and Whitney Higgins of Yuba City, CA; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 3:00 p.m. until time of service.
