A Memorial Celebration for Mrs. Jo Ann Tarver will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Ricky and Brenda Slayter, 1060 Pin Oak Dr., Montgomery, Louisiana 71454, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Tarver, age 63, of Montgomery, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death her parents, Alvin and Bessie Slayter; daughter, Heather McLemore; grandson, Travis Bordelon; brother-in-law, John “Pee Wee” Feazell.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Bruce Tarver of Montgomery; one son, Scott Bordelon (Kim) of Iatt Lake; two step-daughters, Teresa Fontenot (Jason) of Lake Charles and Chrissy Tarver of Iowa, Louisiana; two brothers, Ricky Slayter (Brenda) of Montgomery and Billy Slayter (Annette) of Montgomery; one sister, Cecelia (Ceal) Feazell of Montgomery; six grandchildren, Shelby Cormier, Kelly Bordelon, Katie Bordelon, Cody Cedars, Ashlynn Fontenot and Brelynn Fontenot; five great-grandchildren, Kallie Cormier, Kamdyn Cormier, Eli Bordelon, Emma Bordelon and Preslee Cedars; also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
