Mr. Gerald Wayne DeSoto, age 56, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alton DeSoto.

He is survived his mother, Helen Brossette of Dry Prong; two sons, Casey DeSoto (Santana) of Marksville, Jeremy DeSoto of Pineville; one daughter, Raven Nicole DeSoto of Pineville; one brother, Joseph A. DeSoto of Pineville; one sister, Kathy Nation (Ron) of Dry Prong; grandchildren, Cagan DeSoto and Allie DeSoto.
