Janice Sue  Dupre (Bennett)
Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Sue Dupre will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Esler Field Baptist Church, Pineville, Louisiana, with Reverend Mark Breland officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home Ball, LA.

Mrs. Dupre, age 63, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. She loved her church and mission work. When she wasn’t tending to her family or her church work, Janice liked to fish and enjoyed farming. She will be missed by many family and friends.

Mrs. Dupre is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Mildred Bennett, her first husband, Ralph Carpenter and his parents, William and Bertha Carpenter and her present in-laws, Mason and Gene Dupre.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Dupre of Deville; a son, Ralph Carpenter of Deville, her daughter, Amanda Cooksey and husband, Brandon of Lake Charles; two step-daughters, Kimberly Dupre of Alexandria and Tara Church and husband, Corey of Knoxville, TN; grand-daughter, Payton Cooksey; step grandsons, Trey and Cooper Church and a brother, David Bennett and wife Lois of Central Louisiana.

Friends may visit on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Esler Field Baptist Church in Pineville from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Bennett, James Bennett, David Bennett, Erik Griffith, Brandon Cooksey, Clifford Allen, Corey Church and Jason Dupre.
