Obituary for Freddie Lee Tucker

Funeral services for Mr. Freddie Lee Tucker will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church in Montgomery, Louisiana, with Pastor Donald Givens officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery in Aloha, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Tucker, age 79, of Montgomery, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 11, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Freddie Tucker was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Tucker retired after working 35 years as a Marler Ford mechanic. He was a passionate LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints fan. He loved to fish and had a fondness for roses. Mr. Tucker was known by many as “Uncle Freddie”. He will forever be missed by those who loved him.

Mr. Tucker is preceded in death by his parents, Fred James Tucker and Mary Simmons Tucker; his brothers, Jimmy Tucker, Carl Tucker, and Jerry Tucker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Letha Roberts Tucker; sons, Perry (Laura) of Denver, Colorado, and Randy (Stephanie) of Bentley, Louisiana; daughters, Linda (Jean) of Pineville, Louisiana, and Regina (Wayne) of Montgomery, Louisiana; brothers, Ronnie (Daisy) of Winnfield, Louisiana, and Jackie of Sikes, Louisiana; sister, Becky of Sikes, Louisiana; grandchildren, Amber, Erin, Brandon, Brent, Brenna, Chase, Avery, Sydney, Kenna, Jade, Richard, Jessica T., Jessica R., Eric, and Madison; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Gavin, Evan, Haylee, Michael, Everett, Mia, Elizabeth, and Cormac.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Jade Sillavan, Richard Gotte, Stacey Roberts, Stacey Tucker, Carlton Tucker and Colby Harris; honorary pallbearers will be James Freeman, Ricky Pinder and Teddy Roberts.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church in Montgomery, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
