She loved her son Dustin dearly; she loved to fish, especially for bream, meet new people and be with family. She was the youngest daughter and the apple of her parent’s eye. She loved her dog “Sweetie” who was her constant companion.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Conner; father Michael R. Gish; step-brother Gregory Gish; paternal grandparents, Michael and Betty Gish; maternal grandparents, Walter and Eula Ryder Leonard; aunts Lydia Leonard Teasley and Mildred Jackson McNeal and uncle, Walter Leonard, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Farris M. Leonard Johnson Gish of Pineville; son, Dustin Oliver Conner (Kayla) of Winnfield; three sisters, Cheryl Ann Gish Lutz (Charles) of Pineville, Gwendolyn Beaubouef (Gilbert) of Alexandria and Cathy Alwell of Deville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rebecca was a former employee of Wellan’s Department Store, Weiss and Goldring, Pinecrest and T. L. James Construction Company.
