Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Mills Murrell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 85 Duncan Rd., Pineville, Louisiana with Randy Murrell officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Murrell, age 72, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Murrell was a loving, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She worked for many years at Pinecrest and Rapides Senior Citizens Services. She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sandy Murrell; parents, Elby and Florence Mills; brother, Bobby Mills; step-son, Brent Murrell; step-daughter, Terri Lynn Murrell.

She is survived by her two sons, Warren Knapp (Pauline) of Lincoln Park, MI and Toby Knapp (Brenda) of Pineville; one daughter, Shana Browning (Randy) of Dry Prong; one step-son, Allan Murrell of Pineville; one sister, Mildred Montgomery of Ball; sisters-in-law, Brenda Mills, Elaine Futrell, Dorothy Hataway and Doris Bartlett; grandchildren, Chuck, Maryann, Daniel, Matthew, Heather, Krista, Blake, Cody, Nick, Katey, Dustin, Dillon, Kylee, Haley, Trevor, Taija and Travis; twenty four great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 8:00 a.m. until time of graveside service at 10:00 a.m.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be, Matthew Knapp, Dillon Knapp, Blake Browning, Dustin Knapp, David Mink and Nick Bosel; honorary pallbearer, Trystan Browning.
