Obituary for Linnie Bell Chelette (Roberts)
Funeral services for Mrs. Linnie Bell Chelette will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church, Montgomery, Louisiana, with Reverend Donald Givens officiating. Burial will follow in French Cemetery, Montgomery, Louisiana. Visitation for Mrs. Chelette will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
Mrs. Chelette, age 88, of Montgomery, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at University Health Care Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, AC Chelette; three brothers, Johnny, Odell and Ona Roberts; three sisters, Ozeat Jowers, Eva Beatrice Kell and Isa Phillips; two grandsons, Brian Lane and Adam Hale.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Coleman Chelette (Mary Ann) of Montgomery; two daughters, Juanita Bernadette Chelette Lane of Montgomery and Delia Bell Chelette Hale (Daniel) of Montgomery; three sisters, Letha C. Roberts Tucker of Montgomery, Ethel C. Jones of Colfax and Essie Ann Blaney of MS; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey Lane (Randi), Kristin Marroquin (Alvaro), Daniel Hale, Travis Hale, Amanda Chelette, Ashley Foster, Joshua Chelette; eight great-grandchildren.
