Julia "Judy"  Walker (Evans)
Memorial services for Mrs. Julia Evans Walker will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in the chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana, with the Reverends Glen Spears and Bart Walker officiating. Friends are welcome to visit from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Walker, age 78, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Tioga Manor Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Walker was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved children and also her extended family. Mrs. Walker enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading and especially bream fishing. Mrs. Walker was also a skilled basketball player, lettering all four years at Harrisonburg High School. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.

Mrs. Julia Walker is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Wilma Sikes Evans of Jonesville, Louisiana; sister, Irma Allen of Blanchard, Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband, Talmadge “Tab” Walker of Pineville; son, Talmadge “Tal” Walker II (Connie) of Pineville; grandson, Marcus Walker of Pineville; nieces, Darlene Fuller (Bobby) and their children Ty and MaKenzie of Deville, Nelda Rosier (Johnny) of Jena, Nina Flynn (John) of Alexandria; extended family, Candi Baxter (Alvin) of Pineville, Hunter Baxter of Pineville, Shelley Manual (Gary) of Alexandria, and Abby Smith of Alexandria.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Sara Thompson Mission Fund at Kingsville Baptist Church.
