Funeral services for Mrs. Laurie Gay Asper Breimel, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 in the chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory Ball, Louisiana. Burial will be Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may visit on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Breimel, age 55, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 7, 2018 at her residence in Pineville, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Laurie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her dogs as well as dog breeding and grooming. Mrs. Laurie also had a green thumb and had flower gardens and a home full of plants. Mrs. Laurie was also a dedicated student of the Word. She considered herself to be a true believer and always honored the Saturday Sabbath. Mrs. Laurie will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.

Mrs. Breimel was preceded in death by her mother, Agalia Matthews Asper; and brother, Steven Asper.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Chalong Breimel of Pineville; sons, Joshua (Kayla) Breimel of Pollock and Jacob Breimel of New Orleans; grandchildren, Tyson, Landry, Kennedy Breimel and one on the way; and her father, Donald Asper of Bozeman, Montana.
