Obituary for Wilber Lee "W L" Parker Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilber “WL” Lee Parker, Jr. will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Deville Pentecostal Church, Deville, Louisiana, with Reverend Dale Hutchinson officiating. Interment will be held in Paul Cemetery, Deville, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana. Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Parker, age 73, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Parker was a member of Deville Pentecostal Church, Deville, Louisiana. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilber, Sr. and Willie Mae Parker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Hilda Parker of Deville; son, Shannon Parker (Susan) of Deville, step-daughter, Kim Breland (Rusty) of Vick; one brother, Tony Parker (Barbara) of Deville; two sisters, Beverly Jordan (Ernest) of Pineville and Sherry Brossett (Junior) of Deville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Donald Wayne Foster, Hilton Deville, Dick Zeagler, Rickey Huffman, Kendall Reed and Andy Parker.
