Ruby Taylor Streetman, age 90, of Jena, Louisiana, passed peacefully from this life on October 11, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born July 29, 1928 in Glenmora, Louisiana to the union of Benjamin and Lessie Rambo Taylor. She was a housewife and mother who enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Mrs. Streetman is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Streetman; her parents; one daughter, Alicia Streetman; two sons, Johnny Wayne Streetman and Bobby L. Streetman; sisters, Alicia Mitchum, Juanita Macek, Hattie Hamm and Marjorie Duncan; one brother, William Taylor.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Dyer of Jena, Donna Grimm and husband, John Sid, of Jena; Shirlene Streetman of Tallahassee, FL and Sabrina Harrington of Jena; one son, Curtis Streetman and wife, Marie of Pineville; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Sid Grimm, Wyatt Smith, Kevin Long, Dustin Streetman, Gabe Rushing and Leon Allen.

Services will be held at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Lyndon Marcotte officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
