Life Story for Simuel Mark Wooley

Mr. Simuel Mark Wooley, age 57, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 5, 2018 at his residence in Pineville, Louisiana. Services for Mr. Wooley will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, in Ball, Louisiana, with Reverend John LePrairie officiating. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery in Breezy Hill, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Wooley will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Wooley was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He worked for 24 years with the ACBL as a Sr. Deckhand. Mr. Wooley loved his kids and grandkids and at times showed a little tough love. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his true passion was taking road trips on his Harley. Mr. Wooley was a character and could never be replaced and he will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosalee Gray and Olan Gray; and grandmother, Floriene Gardner.

Mr. Wooley is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Brenda Ponthieux Wooley; sons, Richard Wooley (Miranda), Jamie Ponthieux (Breanne), Blake Lachney, and Ethan Pounds; daughter, Kacie Wooley Malone (Todd); parents, Sue and Elson Deshotel; grandchildren, Angel Malone, Tequila Gauthier, Jasper Malone, Jacob Bennett, Kalob Bennett, Hunter Bennett, and Skylynn Ponthieux; brother, Cliff Wooley; sisters, Rhoda Davis and Jessica Wooley; niece and nephew, Regan and Carson Davis.
