Obituary for Jacob Edwards
Mr. Jacob Pharon Edwards, age 36, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 7, 2019, at his residence in Pineville, Louisiana. Funeral services for Mr. Edwards will be held on Friday January 11, 2019 at the Sanctuary of Praise in Pineville, Louisiana with Brother Belgard, Bishop Roberts, and Pastor Kimsey officiating. Visitation for Mr. Edwards will be on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Sanctuary of Praise from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Wise Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Jacob Edwards “The First Born”, was a loving son, husband, son-n-law, and great friend. He was very caring and generous, always looking to help someone. Jacob was passionate about family, music and welding, and had plans to go to Votech. He enjoyed knife making, lifting weights and TV. He loved his pets, but above all he loved the Lord.
Jacob is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herman and Geraldine Lucas; uncle, Larry Lucas; paternal grandparents, Henry and Minnie Edwards; aunt, Sadie Pace, and aunt, Marilyn Seaders.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Moore Edwards; parents, Pam and Dexter Edwards; sister, Rachel Butler (Chris); niece and nephew, Addyson and Cole Butler; aunts, Debbie Lucas, Stephanie Farquhar (Alan), and Wanda Howard.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Gary Bordelon, Kevin Jones, Sr., Dewayne Lavespere, Tracy Chelette, Dustin Wilkinson, Chad Wiley, and Jonathan Wiley. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Butler and Alan Farquhar.
