Mr. James D. “Jimmy” Foster, Jr, age 71, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services for Mr. Foster will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Gallagher Funeral Home with Reverend Butch Roshto officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. Visitation for Mr. Foster will be on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He adored and was passionate about the love of his life, his wife Rebecca. Her smile was what Jimmy lived for. Jimmy was also very fond of his Boston Red Sox’s, Nascar, Fox News, the Eagles…and FORD’s. One of his last requests was to take him to his final resting place…in a FORD. On Monday, parked beside our 2019 Cadillac hearse will be a Ford truck to honor Jimmy’s request.
Mr. Foster was an expert draftsman, and retired from Dresser Industries after 33 years. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Rebecca Despino Foster of Pineville; two daughters, Melissa Foster of Alamosa, Colorado and Christina Rice of Abilene, Texas; a sister, Nancy Roshto (Butch) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; six grandchildren, two nephews, one niece and many friends.
