Our precious Lucy, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019, cradled in the arms of her parents, Christian and Devin. We take comfort in knowing that she has been made whole, no longer suffering or struggling and being held by her Heavenly Father.
Born on January 28, 2019, Lucy spent 4 weeks at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, and in her short time with us, had an impact on so many. Her story was shared by many and Lucy brought prayer warriors together from everywhere. She was truly a gift from God.
Lucy is survived by her parents Christian and Devin Beaubouef Gaudet, her maternal grandparents, Charlotte Boothe (Alan) and Nathan Beaubouef and her paternal grandparents, Jenny Laponsie (John) and Patrick Gaudet. In addition, Lucy is survived by loving great-grandparents and a large extended family. We are sure Devin’s PawPaw Gerald Beaubouef was at Heaven’s gates to welcome Baby Lucy.
A private memorial service was held to celebrate Lucy’s life. We would like to thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers and acts of kindness received throughout this most difficult time. We ask for your continued prayers for Christian and Devin, for our family and for all who love Lucy.
