Life Story for Shirley Ann Borsis (Eisele)

Mrs. Shirley Ann Eisele Borsis, age 80 of Deville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Friday, April 26, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services for Mrs. Borsis will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in the Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Susan Wiggins Virden officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleview, Illinois. Visitation for Mrs. Borsis will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Borsis loved her family. She was a loving aunt, great aunt and loved to "Shop". Shirley retired after 25 years as a receptionist with Dorsey Advertising Company in St. Louis, Mo (near the Arch). She was beautiful inside and out, was "runner-up" for Miss America pageant 1956 and was affectionately called the family "Diva".
Mrs. Borsis is preceded in death by her husband, James G. Borsis (assistant Chief of Police, Belleville, IL.), her parents, William and Nellie Eisele, sister, Dorothy M. Dickson and a great nephew, Christopher Cedars.
Mrs. Borsis is survived by one brother, William Eisele (Debra) of San Antonio, TX; a neice, Barbara Belgard (Benny-Ray) of Deville ; a great neice, Tiffiony Cedars Tullos (Clifton) of Deville and two great nephews, Beau Belgard (Emily) of Deville and John Cedars of Alexandria and a host great nieces and nephews and friends.

The family would like to express their thanks to All Saints Hospice in Marksville, especially, Leila, Kathy, and Taylor for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
