Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Spillers Looney will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Lyndon Marcotte officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Looney, age 81, of Alexandria, LA, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Tioga Community Care Center, Pineville, Louisiana, surrounded her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Printess and Lucille Boyd Spillers; two sisters, Patricia Spillers and Melba Snow.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Lelton Looney of Alexandria; three sons, Michael Looney (Mary) of Tioga, Charles Looney (Lornell) of Prospect and James Looney (Melissa) of Pineville; one daughter, Janet Sears (John) of New York; three brothers, Leroy Spillers of Ruston, Bill Spillers of Arizona and Bruce Spillers of Ruston; two sisters, Sybil Spillers Park of Texas and Kathy Spillers Smith of Ruston; thirteen grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Chris Looney, Ethan Looney, Willie Lacour, Connor Looney, Brad Looney and Josh Looney; honorary pallbearer, Jason Looney.
