Obituary for Novelle Rambo (Kelly)
Funeral services for Mrs. Novelle Kelly Rambo will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Lincecum Baptist Church, Pollock, Louisiana with Reverend Jim Winegeart officiating. Interment will be in Lincecum Baptist Church Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
On May 7, 2019, Novelle Kelly Rambo, age 89, passed from this earth to heaven to be reunited with her husband of sixty-five years, Ernest H. Rambo.
She retired from the State Department of Health and Hospitals at Pinecrest Developmental Center, Pineville, Louisiana, where she worked as an Occupational Therapist. She loved working with her hands, doing ceramics, crocheting, quilting and sewing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. Rambo; parents, Willie and Jessie Kelly; twin sister, Azelle Kelly Starks.
She is survived by her children, Doris R. Price Slay (Clois), Phyllis Rambo Gordon and Chares Ransom Rambo; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her family for her feisty spirit and will to overcome all obstacles in her life.
Friends may visit on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Lincecum Baptist Church, Pollock, Louisiana from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Greg Hooper, Matthew Bryant, Robert Easley, Quincy Carrington, Amy Bryant, Madeline Hooper.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
